A Luxurious Accommodation at Hilton Prague

Prague has a special place in my heart, as I had been dying to visit it for years! The same goes for Haris as well, as we were discussing about visiting it together since our second date! So we managed to book our tickets for our second Christmas together, in early December. Of course the absolute must for our accommodation was the newly renovated 5* Hilton Prague hotel, a world-reputation huge luxury hotel with 791 rooms. We were totally impressed by the gorgeous 24-hour service and staff, who were more than willing to serve our needs, as well as by the renovation results on the hotel’s spaces! We experienced a really luxurious accommodation at Hilton Prague!

LOCATION

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, centrally and only a few steps from Florenc metro station. For example, the famous Old Town Square is located just one metro station away or 7-8 minutes by car. Exactly opposite from the hotel there are several supermarkets where you can find anything you need. It also offers a restaurant and a pub, so you don’t need to go out to eat if you’re tired.

THE LUXURIOUS INTERIOR

Right from the very first moment we stepped foot inside Hilton Prague, we were speechless by all the luxurious interior and really spacious Grand Lobby area. The renovation process is obvious everywhere you look, as all spaces are brand new and wonderfully decorated with luxurious lights. Also there are also two glass-made elevators where you can enjoy views to the hotel’s Grand Lobby from above. At the end you reach close to the super impressively designed rooftop, filled with purple lights! Overall, Hilton Prague’s interior leaves you a great sense of luxury!

THE KING GUESTROOM WITH CITY VIEW

The hotel has 791 fully renovated rooms and suites. Our room was a King Guestroom and immediately fell in love with it. It was really spacious and luxurious, always warm and cozy 24 hours a day and offering wide city views. The bed was a double king size (necessary, as Haris is 2.05m 😛) which was literally one of the best beds we’ve ever slept in. It was a true struggle to get out of the soft mattress in the morning! 😛 The shower area was spacious, clean and separated from the toilet, which we found really nice hygiene-wise.

In the room there was also a huge TV, a boudoir, a table with comfortable chairs and plenty of space for your luggage. Of course you can expect to find a fridge, hair dryer, air-condition, safebox and strong WiFi. We were looking forward to come back and relax at the end of each day filled with activities! You can book your own room here.

THE SWIMMING POOL

A luxurious accommodation at Hilton Prague is completed with their swimming pool! The hotel has a spacious indoor heated swimming pool, in perfect temperature to enjoy the blue water. It is open from early morning at 6am until late evening at 10pm, so you can enjoy it anytime of the day. We went there very early, before our daily activities to the city and we had it all on our own 😉 We were also provided slippers from the reception, as we didn’t remember to bring ours 😛

THE BREAKFAST IN ATRIUM RESTAURANT

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day… For us, it nearly became the ONLY meal of the day as we ate so much that we could not eat anything afterwards 😛 The variety was so huge that we could literally not make up our minds, so we ended up tasting everyting! 😛 The food was more than fresh and delicious; there were fresh juices, coffee, tea, milk with a variety of cereals, fresh pastries, cakes, donuts, so many breads and baguettes, varieties of cheese and ham, eggs prepared on the spot, sausages, omelettes, marmelades and even waffles and pancakes (the last two were the best I’ve tasted anywhere)! And everything refilled immediately. Much needed breakfast to give you all the necessary energy for a day full of activities in the city!

CULINARY EXPERIENCE IN ABLE BUTCHER RESTAURANT

The day we arrived in Hilton Prague it was quite late, so we decided to take our dinner at the hotel’s Able Butcher restaurant, as we were tired to go out. The restaurant offers a great à la carte service and all the personnel is so polite and professional! We chose the Prime Beef Tartare as a starter, which was prepared on the spot by our table! We also had the Able Butcher salad, the Filet Mignon and the Rib Eye and the food exceeded our expectations! Everything was so yummy! Finally we ordered some red wine to accompany our dishes, and the serving lady was so kind to bring us several different wines to try, in order to choose our favorite. Thank you so much!

BEER AND CZECH BITES AT THE HOP HOUSE

The Hop House is a pub space serving traditional beer and Czech bites. Of course, we could not miss such a Czech experience! So we hit the pub one of our afternoons in Hilton. Haris also had the time to watch a football match, on the pub’s TV screens, while I was relaxing eating my potatoes 😛

THE CLOUD 9 SKY BAR & LOUNGE

Now, Hilton’s rooftop was THE total highlight! 40 meters above the Vltava River, the Cloud 9 Sky Bar & Lounge offering glorious views over the city of Prague, not only from the inside but also from their terraces. It is the ultimate place to go for your night cocktails, and non-Hilton customers reserve their table there, as it is considered the rooftop bar with the best view in Prague! We totally adored the purple/pink lights which cover all of the bar, especially me as I have a soft spot for these colors 😛. The atmosphere was great and let’s not talk about the cocktails; totally from another planet! We were even served our vodka inside a flamingo – does it get any cuter than this? 🙈

We are so happy about our luxurious accommodation at Hilton Prague! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay and your hospitality! We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back on our next trip to Prague!

As always, all opinions are my own and are based on my personal experiences.
